The iStar D Storm D-300 3U Rackmount Server Chassis is a well-built case with high-quality materials and workmanship. It is made from heavier gauge steel than usual and all edges are rolled so as to not cause scratched/cut hands and arms while building. However, it has some design flaws that may require non-standard components to fit properly, like the non-standard size power supply and not providing fan mounts behind the front openings which already have filters. It has two small 60mm fans in the rear and needs an adapter plate to use a standard rack mount power supply. It only fits a CPU cooler in a limited height and likely only a stock cooler. Nonetheless, it is an excellent option for those who need lower profile and front-to-back cooling that fit in with other servers.
