The 8 ¼ Compound Miter Saw with Multi-Material Cutting Capability can cut virtually any common construction material including: Hard & Soft Wood, Reclaimed wood with hidden nails, Mild Steel, Aluminum, Copper, PVC, Composite Decking & more! * Based on internal testing data cutting 2” angle iron. Evolution 14” Multi-Material blades averaged 1000 cuts per blade. 14” abrasive discs averaged 69 cuts per blade. Features 8-1/4” Premium Japanese Tungsten Carbide Tip Blade Miter detents at 0, 15, 22.5, 30 and 45 degrees Accurate miter table with 9 positive stops for fast angel finding. Bevel capacity range from 0-45 Strong cast aluminum base with bench mounting holes. Head lock-down pin for safe and compact storage.
