    répondre: Yes, they are made in the USA. I mail calendars and other paperwork in them. I store documents in them but not heavy wads or them or books. They should be able to hold a narrow book.

Mead Clasp Envelopes Editorial Review

The Mead Letter Size Mailing Envelopes are a mixed bag when it comes to customer reviews. On one hand, some customers found them to be the perfect size for their needs and appreciated the traditional style and quality. Others, however, were disappointed with the thin material and cheap clasp. The 24-lb paper is lightweight, and some customers found it to be too thin.
