Mettler Sewing Editorial Review

The Mettler Metrosene Gift Pack has generally received positive feedback from customers, highlighting the quality and variety of its thread selection. Users have expressed satisfaction with the performance of the thread, emphasizing that it does not shred and works well with various sewing machines, including high-end brands like Bernina. The rich assortment of colors is particularly appreciated, making it a suitable option for contrasting projects. However, some users noted a few drawbacks. The number of spools is less than what the product description suggests, leading to some confusion. Additionally, while the thread quality is praised, customers mentioned that the spools are small and may not provide enough thread for larger projects, such as quilts. Hence, this gift pack is seen as an excellent choice for smaller projects or beginners looking to test the Mettler brand, rather than for extensive sewing needs or larger works. Overall, the Mettler Metrosene Gift Pack serves as a reliable introduction to a well-regarded thread brand, balancing quality and a vibrant color palette while acknowledging its limitations in thread quantity. **
