The Helikon-Tex Pilgrim Anorak is a durable and well-made outdoor jacket with great Construction, practical and well-designed features for outdoor use. It is made of the same material as the Woodsman Anorak which is a blend of cotton and seems to be durable. It has plenty of pockets that are laid out in great locations for easy access and storage of items to carry, internal loops in the chest pockets and inside the jacket and doubled material on the elbows. Although it is not waterproof, it is warm but breathable with a drawstring waist that is hidden in the lower hand pockets, has a generous hood with a drawstring on the face portion, an additional velcro strap to secure the rear hood vent and a visor that is stiffened up with foam. There are zippers on each side that go from the bottom hem close to the arm pit which makes it easier to take off and put on. The sizing can be a bit confusing since the size chart is wrong but it is recommended to get your usual jacket size for layering purposes.
