The product works as advertised and can be used with direct contact to water or a wick material/sponge. The device should be pressed against a wet sponge for maximum efficiency. Although it produces a lot of atomized water, the disk is too small to make powerful steam. If the user wants to avoid having to press the button each time to power it up, they can do a solder or wire bridge across the button.
