It has more resources compared to the regular Arduino Uno, has the ESP32 chip, USB interface, and Arduino-compatible headers for external connections. It works nicely and perfectly for practice and learning microPython- either through USB or over the air with the wifi connection. It is an incredible value for the price. However, there are some instances where the quality control is mediocre with missing components or pins that have been soldered together unintentionally causing the CPU to hang at boot.
