Software Engineering is a comprehensive textbook published by Pearson, with its latest edition being the 10th, released on March 24, 2015. Spanning 816 pages, it serves as an accessible and clear introduction to key software engineering concepts, catering to both students and professionals. Many reviewers commend Sommerville's writing style, noting it as conversational and relevant, which enriches the learning experience. The book's integration of teaching resources and links to supplementary materials enhances its practicality for coursework. However, some readers have expressed dissatisfaction with the physical quality of the book, particularly the binding and paper quality, which detracts from the overall experience.
