Para hacer el estudio de chino mas facil e interesante, este libro de texto consta de las siguientes caracteristicas: El estudiante estara en el entorno cultural de la sociedad china con varios estudiantes internacionales, Ding Libo (hijo de Gubo y Ding Yun), Lin Nay Ma Dawei. A traves de diversas experiencias interesantes, el estudiante no solo aprendera el chino autentico sino que tambien entendera la sociedad y la cultura china. Se enfatiza la enseSanza de aspectos funcionales. El estudiante aprendera a usar chino desde el principio del proceso de aprendizaje. Se presta especial atencion al aprendizaje de la pronunciaci6n, la gramatica, el vocabulario y la organizacion del discurso. El incremento de la dificultad es de manera gradual, los avances se producen ordenadamente y se realizan multiples repeticiones a Io largo de los cuatro grandes ciclos para ayudar a los estudiantes a entender la estructura de la lengua china. Se utiliza un nuevo metodo de ensenanza de caracteres chinos para ayudar a los estudiantes, de modo ameno, a leer y escribir los caracteres.
