Kids & Family Editorial Review
Soul is a movie that tells the story of a middle-school music teacher who dreams of playing jazz in a famous club. However, an accident separates his soul from his body, and he is transported to a semi-fantastical realm where he meets other souls who are yet to be born. This Pixar film delivers a beautifully crafted and emotionally charged story that deals with themes of existentialism, passion, purpose, and death. The film's production and cinematography are surreal, creating a captivating and dreamy landscape that immerses the viewer in the story. The movie's main message is that we are not merely the sum of our talents or accomplishments but rather whole beings with unique passions and purposes in life. Overall, Soul is a must-watch movie for everyone, regardless of age, as it presents universal themes that resonate with everyone.
