It has three drainage holes that need to be poked out. The width of the top is about 5 inches and the bottom is 4.75 inches wide. The box is about 5.5 inches high from the bottom to the top. It is not recommended to wall mount the box using washers and screws through one side as it may make the top of the box crooked. The liners are black in colour. Customers have found the box to be perfect and heavy-duty, fitting perfectly into their white wicker plant stand or black wire window boxes. While some found the box to be a little deeper than stated, it still did a good job and the drainage holes helped prevent plants from drowning. Others have used it to make arrangements for cemetery decorations, and found it to be the correct size for catholic cemetery rules. However, others found it to be not quite the size they needed and were surprised at the high cost of returning the item.
